Earlier this summer, Saoirse Cichy traveled to Lithuania as the youngest member on Team USA Federation of Pankration Athlima (FPA). After she returned to the United States, Cichy went to South Carolina to compete in the Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA) Youth National Tournament.
Jr. Rebels split with Merrill to end season
The Rhinelander Post 7 Jr. Legion baseball team split a pair of wild games with Merrill Post 46 Monday and Tuesday, winning 9-8 Monday in a Wisconsin Valley Legion League contest at Stafford Field before falling 15-13 in the rematch Tuesday in Merrill.

Snowhawks win another nail-biter
