RHS baseball clinches share of first GNC title since 2012
For the first time since 2012, the Rhinelander High School baseball team has clinched a share of the Great North Conference title. The Hodags locked up the crown with three games to spare on Monday, securing a 3-1 win over the Merrill Bluejays at Athletic Park in Merrill.

Hodag soccer dealt double whammy at Lakeland
The Hodags came up short in a must-win game Tuesday at IncredibleBank Field, surrendering a goal in each half as they fell to the T-Birds 2-0.

Hodag tennis sweeps Pacelli, retakes GNC lead
The Rhinelander High School boys’ tennis team moved one step closer to history on Monday, taking care of business in its final Great Northern Conference dual meet of the season.
Track: Hodag girls dominate Tomahawk Invite
Rhinelander won six events and added another 16 top-five finishes as it ran away with title in the 11-team Hatchet Invite in Tomahawk. The Hodags boys scored a lone win and had nine top-five finishes as they took home fourth at Hatchet Field.
RHS softball drops two GNC games
The Rhinelander High School softball team dropped a pair of conference games early this week. On Monday they traveled to Medford and lost to the Red Raiders 11-0. At home on Haug Diamond on Tuesday, the Hodags committed six errors in their 8-4 loss to Merrill.
Monsters drop season opener at Abbotsford
The Rhinelander River Monsters took to the diamond for the first time this season Saturday, May 9 and — in a number of ways — it looked like it in the Dairyland League Large Division opener.
Big numbers cost Hodag golfers at Black River
Rhinelander’s chances for a Great Northern Conference golf title this spring effectively came to an end Monday as the Hodags found trouble, and lots of it, at Black River Golf Course in Medford.
