It turned out to be a career night for Dustin White at Eagle River Speedway Tuesday, July 7. The hometown driver doubled up on feature wins at his home track. To start the night, White captured his second B-Modified feature of the season at the track.


Lady Rebels rally, but fall at Marathon

The Rhinelander Post 7 Lady Rebels rallied from an early 4-0 deficit to tie the game in the seventh inning, but Tyla Beilke-Seubert beat a throw to the plate in the bottom of the inning as Marathon Post 469 downed Rhinelander 5-4 Tuesday at the County Materials Sports Complex.

Vince White, Sawyer Bishop and Conner Rappley combined for six hits and eight RBIs, and the Rebels used an eight-run fifth inning to get past the Minocqua 89ers 12-5 on the road.

The Rhinelander Legion Post 7 Lady Rebels outdid two early runs by Tomahawk Legion Post 93 to start the month of July with a 4-2 win in Tomahawk July 1. Rhinelander improved to 3-1 on the summer, avenging a loss a night earlier at home against Medford.

Rebels to host four-team Legion baseball regional July 23-26

The Rhinelander Post 7 Rebels will have home field advantage as they look to return to the Wisconsin American Legion Class AA state baseball tournament for the first time since 2022.
