Truman Lamers was the only of Rhinelander’s 12 entries on the boys’ side to make it qualify for the WIAA state track meet in La Crosse. Five of Rhinelander’s 13 entries on the girls’ side made it through.

Pitching and defense have been a strong combination down the stretch of the regular season for the Rhinelander High School baseball team. That recipe served up another success Thursday in the WIAA playoff opener.
Hodag soccer forced to share GNC crown after 2-0 loss to Lakeland
The Rhinelander High School girls’ soccer team had a chance Thursday to not only win the Great Northern Conference title outright, but also establish itself as the team to beat in its half of the sectional for the upcoming WIAA playoffs.
Hodag tennis goes winless at sectionals
The postseason run for the Rhinelander High School boys’ tennis team came to an end Wednesday as the three flights that advanced in the WIAA tournament all went winless in a Division 1 sectional in Eau Claire.
RHS golfers hand out awards
The Rhinelander High School golf team handed out its awards for the 2025 season during its banquet Thursday, May 29 at Northwood Golf Club in Rhinelander.

Hodag boys win regional track title
Having a shot to win Tuesday’s WIAA Division 2 regional track title was not the main objective for either the Rhinelander High School boys’ or girls’ track teams. Nearly winning both was a very nice side effect, however.
