Hodag track competes in Wausau
The Rhinelander High School track team rested some of its key starters Tuesday as it traveled to Wausau East for the Sawmill Invite. The results showed in the points total as the Hodag boys placed eighth in a 14-school field while the Hodag girls were 10th in their division.

Hodag girls win, boys 2nd at Eagle Relays
The Hodag girls claimed six events and the overall title while the Hodag boys won seven events and earned a runner-up finish at the Northland Pines Eagle Relays.

The Hodag offense was hot on a 70-degree day Wednesday, pounding out 16 hits in a 10-3 victory over Tomahawk at Stafford Field. Two days later, as the thermometer struggled into the lower 40s, the Hodags managed only four hits and were shut out by Lakeland 4-0.
