Rhinelander golfers tie for third in Antigo
The Hodags shot a 343 and tied for third with Northland Pines in the third leg of the GNC tournament Tuesday at Bass Lake Golf Club.
15 Hodag swimmers earn WISCA All-State honors
Fifteen members of the Rhinelander High School boys’ and girls’ swim teams earned all-state recognition from the Wisconsin Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association based on their performances at the WIAA state championships this past school year.

As part of Rhinelander High School senior signing day on Thursday, five RHS seniors declared their intentions to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.
Hodag golfers take fourth, second in opening GNC meets
After struggling to a 346 and a fourth-place finish in cold, rainy conditions Thursday in the conference opener at Indianhead Golf Course in Mosinee, the Hodags rebounded a day later in Tomahawk, shooting a 315 in a runner-up finish at Inshalla Country Club.

The Rhinelander High School baseball team could not figure out Tomahawk righty Brody Rigney Friday night as it dropped a pitchers’ duel 1-0 to the Hatchets at Kahle Field.

Late woes cost Hodag softball against Tomahawk
Mistakes cost the Rhinelander High School softball team Thursday evening. Tomahawk scored nine unanswered runs from the fourth inning on to break open a tied game and defeat the Hodags 13-4 in Tomahawk in Great Northern Conference play.
Track: RHS girls 4th, boys 9th at Kaukauna
The Rhinelander High School track team opened May with its first big tune-up for larger meets coming up later in the month. The Hodag girls came home fourth and the Hodag boys tied for ninth in the 11-team Galloping Ghost Invite in Kaukauna.
Hodag tennis goes 1-4 in Wausau
The Rhinelander High School boys’ tennis team tinkered with its lineup once again over the weekend, winning only one of the five matches they played at the Wausau Invite.
