Closed for Maintenance
The Hodag Dome in Rhinelander will be closed from now until Nov. 3 for replacement of the track. In a Facebook post, Hodag Dome officials explained that the track was not wearing properly and was under warranty. The current track is being torn up and a new one installed.

Members of the Rhinelander Fire Department recently visited Ms. Polly Wiley’s classroom at Central School as part of Fire Prevention Month. The class learned about fire safety and what to do in case of a fire emergency. The students also got an up-close look at the firefighters’ turnout gear.
