Hodag wrestlers take 9th in Rebel Invite
The Rhinelander High School wrestling team had three placewinners among the nine wrestlers it had competing on Saturday as it tied for ninth in the 22-team Rebel Invite hosted by Laona/Wabeno/Three Lakes at the Forest County Potawatomi Community Center in Crandon.

In what seemed like a blink of an eye Tuesday night, the Rhinelander High School boys’ hockey team went from being tied with Pacelli to facing an insurmountable third-period deficit.

The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Board of Control approved the site for the State Boys and Girls Lacrosse Championships, and voted to establish an ad-hoc committee to examine season lengths, game maximums and coaching contact at its meeting Dec. 2.
