Legion: Rebels shutout Mosinee, become lone GNLC unbeaten

DeMeyer named first-team All-State

Toward the end of the high school season there were few players hitting the baseball as well as Rhinelander's Jacob DeMeyer, coaches around the state agree. DeMeyer received high level recognition Friday when he was named first-team All-State as an outfielder by the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association.

After a slow start in the field Monday night, Rhinelander Green's bats came alive as it remained perfect in Northwoods Babe Ruth Senior League play. The Hodags scored seven times in the first two innings and defeated Tomahawk 8-4 at Stafford Field.
