The Rhinelander High School boys’ hockey team was no match for the top-ranked team in Division 2 on Tuesday night as the Tomahawk Hatchets rolled past the Hodags 9-0 in Tomahawk in the opening round of the Great Northern Conference tournament.
Hodag Nordic competes at state sprints
The Hodag Nordic ski team was at the Ariens Nordic Center in Brillion this past weekend for the Wisconsin Nordic Ski League State Sprint Championships. The two-day event was divided into team and individual components, with team relay races on Saturday and individual sprints on Sunday.

Hodag Hoops races past Pines, reclaims share of GNC lead
Evan Shoeder had 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead a balanced Rhinelander attack and the Hodags used a 31-7 run spanning both sides of halftime to defeat Northland Pines 56-38 at the Jim Miazga Community Gymnasium.
