WIAA board approves spring sports changes, forms competitive balance subcommittee
The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Board of Control approved two baseball recommendations and one track and field coaches' request as well as created a competitive balance subcommittee at its October meeting on Thursday.

Hodag volleyball dropped by Antigo
The Rhinelander High School volleyball team could not quite keep up with Antigo, falling in straight sets Tuesday night at Sheldon Fieldhouse. Set scores were 25-13, 25-18, 25-14.

The Hodags were frustrated on a steamy night in Mosinee, held to a season-low 136 yards of offense in a 14-7 defeat to Mosinee at Veterans Memorial Stadium in a battle of the Great Northern Conference's two unbeaten teams.
