Snowhawks crush Lakeland Times to get back in win column
I missed playing snowshoe baseball last year due to a rainout. The Lakeland Times put together a team once again in a game that was an absolute blast. The Snowhawks defeated the Times 21-11 on Monday in Lake Tomahawk.

Lakeland golf among spring teams promoted via WIAA performance factor
The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Classification Committee conducted hearings for member school requests and appeals in applying the performance factor initiative for the spring sports with implementation during the 2026 seasons.

Rebels’ Vanderbunt named to Legion All-Star Game
Rhinelander’s Dylan Vanderbunt has been named to this year’s Wisconsin American Legion All-Star Game, which will be played Aug. 10 at American Family Field, home of the Milwaukee Brewers. He is one of 24 members of the Stars team, which will face the Stripes squad in the 53rd annual event.
Zimmy’s zips past ‘Hawks in ninth
One inning separated Zimmy’s All-Stars from the Snowhawks in a high-scoring affair. Zimmy’s All-Stars defeated the Snowhawks 22-16 on last Monday night in Lake Tomahawk.
