William "Bill" Pooch aka “Papa Pooch”, fought a long and hard 19-year battle with his health. Those battles became too much, and Bill lost his fight on February 18, 2024 at the age of 67.

Bernice "Bo" Purmal, age 84, of Rhinelander, died on February 22, 2024 at Rhinelander Aspirus Hospital. She was born on May 18,1939, in Rhinelander, the daughter of Ernest and Bernice (Boeynik) Purmal. She attended schools in Rhinelander, graduating from Rhinelander High School in 1957.

Jim Voborsky, age 85, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2024, after a battle with cancer. He was born on July 12, 1938, to Joseph and Vladislava Voborsky, in Chicago. In the first grade, the Voborsky family moved to central Wisconsin and began farming.
