House in Pelican destroyed by fire
Firefighters from five departments were dispatched to a house fire on River Bend Road in Pelican Sunday. Pelican fire chief Dave Hollands said the home, owned by Tianna Roddy, was destroyed.

Gail Raymond Winnie, 89 of Harshaw, passed away on Monday, March 17 at Rennes Health and Rehab in Rhinelander. Gail was the son of Raymond and Leona (Pinkowsky) Winnie and brother to Arvilla (Richard) Bender, Duane (Mary) Winnie and Judith (Vincent) Richards.
