Finding their own way home
A year ago, Rhinelander High School alums David Chrisinger and Brett Foley, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, completed a 50-mile ultramarathon to raise money for charity and awareness of the immense challenge veterans face when trying to transition back to civilian life.

Northwoods Bark for Life event recognized by American Cancer Society
The fight against cancer went to the dogs Aug. 23 when the American Cancer Society held its Bark For Life at the Rhinelander Oneida County Airport. Area pooches, with owners in tow, took to the track to dig up a cure for cancer.
