Pelican students demonstrate new math skills

Second-grade families at Pelican School enjoyed a Family Night event Nov. 19 centered around math. Parents attended an informational session where they learned about ways to help their children add and subtract multi-digit numbers without using the traditional algorithm, school officials explained in a press release.
