Lakeland ends Hodag soccer's GNC hopes with 1-0 result
Alyson Lazaroff had the lone goal, a strike from 30 yards in the 25th minute, as Lakeland defeated Rhinelander 1-0 at Mike Webster Stadium. After losing to Lakeland 2-0 last month in Minocqua, the Hodags needed a regulation win to keep alive any realistic hopes of a conference title.
Late '90s standouts Orgeman, Brekke inducted into Hodag Hall of Fame
Rhinelander High School produced many standout student-athletes during the late 1990s. Two of them where immortalized Wednesday night. Teague Orgeman and Kerry Brekke (nee Hagen) were inducted into the Rhinelander Athletic Booster Club's Hodag Hall of Fame during the club's 41st annual banquet at Holiday Acres Resort.
Hodag baseball splits final two in GNC
The Rhinelander High School baseball team let a chance to take sole possession of fourth place in the Great Northern Conference slip away on Saturday. The Hodags collected only two hits and fell 2-1 in a pitchers' duel at Lakeland.
Hodag golfers win home meet, regional tune-up

Hodags use big inning to race past Hatchets
The Rhinelander High School baseball team found itself trailing winless Tomahawk following a sluggish start on Monday but restored order thanks to a big fourth inning.

Rhinelander High School's depth was not enough to overcome standout performances by the rest of the Great Northern Conference on Tuesday. The Hodags took fourth on the boys' side and finished sixth in the girls' division of the GNC Meet at IncredibleBank Field.

Hodag golfers wrap up 3rd place in GNC
The Rhinelander High School golf team faced some of the most challenging conditions of the spring Monday and Tuesday and handled them better than most as they closed out the Great Northern Conference tournament.

Hodag soccer sneaks past Pines 3-1
Morgan Van Zile broke a 1-1 deadlock in the 59th minute and the Hodags benefitted from an own goal moments later as they got past Northland Pines 3-1 in Eagle River.

The Rhinelander High School boys' and girls' swim teams commemorated their individual and team success from the 2022-23 season on Monday in a record board ceremony at the Heck Family Community Pool.
RHS tennis downs Marshfield in final dual
The Rhinelander High School boys' tennis team played well Tuesday in its final dual meet of the regular season. The Hodags rolled in doubles and took three of four matches with an altered singles lineup to defeat Marshfield 6-1 in non-conference play.
