The Rhinelander High School softball team snapped its three-game losing streak in emphatic fashion Monday night in the Hodag Dome.

The Rhinelander High School boys’ golf team played its first rounds of the spring Monday and Tuesday, taking 22nd overall out of 31 teams in the Randolph Invite contested and Trappers Turn and Wild Rock golf courses in Wisconsin Dells.

The Rhinelander High School boys’ tennis team fell Tuesday in its second match of the season, losing 5-1 to Marshfield in a non-conference match on the road.

The Rhinelander High School softball team remained unbeaten in Great Northern Conference play Thursday, April 9, scoring five runs in the seventh inning, including a walkoff home run by junior Ava Rathbun, to defeat Antigo 9-7 in the Hodag Dome.

Big inning propels RHS baseball in opener
The Hodags scored all four of their runs in the fifth inning — aided by a trio of Antigo errors — and held the Robins to only two hits as they scored a 4-2 victory in Wisconsin Rapids.
RHS track places top 5 in Wausau indoor meets
The Hodag girls competed Thursday, April 9, coming home fifth out of 13 teams in the Wausau West Girls Indoor. Rhinelander came home fourth the following day when it was the boys’ turn to run in the Wausau West fieldhouse.
