Hodag wrestlers fall to Lakeland in Handrick Hammer dual
The Rhinelander High School wrestling team made a run in the middle weights, but it was not enough to get past Lakeland as the T-Birds reclaimed the Handrick Hammer with a 58-23 win over the Hodags in Great Northern Conference play Thursday, Jan. 15 in Minocqua.
Hodag Alpine competes at Mt. Zion
The Rhinelander/Northland Pines Alpine ski and snowboard team took part in the second Northern Conference race of the season Tuesday, Jan. 13 at Mt. Zion in Ironwood, Mich.

The Rhinelander High School boys’ hockey team was not able to keep up with Mosinee’s offensive firepower Monday night. Tyler Baars scored four times and Mosinee peppered the Hodag net with nearly 60 shots as the Indians skated away with an 8-1 win at the Rhinelander Ice Arena.

Hodag swimmers take 7th in Ashwaubenon
