The Rhinelander High School golf team shot its two lowest scores of the season Monday and Tuesday, but did not make much of a dent in the Great Northern Conference standings.
Errors, injuries bite Hodag softball at Kaukauna
Rhinelander committed four straight errors in the seventh inning as it blew a four-run lead and fell to Kingsford, Mich. 8-7 in the first game of the day before getting blown out by the defending Division 1 state champ Kaukauna 12-2 in the nightcap.
Hodags face tough competition at Otto Bacher
The Rhinelander High School track team finished toward the back of the pack Friday in its first tune-up for the championship season, taking eighth of 10 teams in the boys' division and 10th of 11 teams in the girls' division of the Otto Bacher Invitational at Jay Stadium in Merrill.

Following a rough start to the week, the Rhinelander High School softball team personified resilience on Thursday. The Hodags used big late-inning rallies in both games to sweep a Great Northern Conference doubleheader 11-5 and 8-6 in Medford.

The Rhinelander High School girls' soccer team continues to dominate Great Northern Conference play. The team ran its winning streak to four games, and improved to 2-0-0 in GNC play, with a 7-0 victory over Medford Thursday at the RHS soccer fields.
RHS tennis alters lineup, beats Medford 5-2
At less than 100 percent, the Rhinelander High School boys' tennis team still had more than enough to get by Medford on Thursday. The Hodags swept singles and won an important match at No. 1 doubles to knock off the Raiders 5-2 at the RHS tennis courts.
