Flory finishes 36th at state cross country meet
Rhinelander senior Bridger Flory finished with one of his best races, placing 36th in a field of 152 runners in the WIAA Division 2 state boys' cross country race, covering a hilly course at the Ridges in 17 minutes, 11.8 seconds.
Hodag swimmers take 2nd at GNCs
Makenna Winnicki won the conference title in the 100-yard butterfly and the Hodags finished second at the GNCs, edging out host Lakeland and Ladysmith/Bruce/Flambeau for the runner-up spot.
