RHS gymnasts knock off Lakeland
The Rhinelander High School gymnastics team remained undefeated in the Great Northern Conference Small division with a 117.425-67.275 victory over a short-handed Lakeland squad Thursday night at the Jim Miazga Community Gymnasium.

Hodag hockey knocks off Antigo, earns No. 3 seed for GNC tourney
Hunter Hicks' power play goal in the third period proved to be the difference Tuesday night as the Hodags defeated Antigo 3-2 at the Langlade County Multi-Purpose Building. The win was Rhinelander's first over Antigo since a WIAA regional final victory over the Robins a decade ago.
Lakeland routs Northern Edge 6-0
Kate Vizanko scored three times in the first period and Lakeland/Tomahawk routed the Northern Edge 6-0 in a Great Northern Conference contest at the Langlade County Multi-Purpose Building.

The Hodags got a combined 31 points off the bench from Ross Skeen and Quinn Lamers, put the clamps on Antigo sharpshooter Sebastian Noskowiak and rolled to a 67-54 win over the Red Robins Friday night at Sheldon Fieldhouse.

The Rhinelander High School Nordic ski team continues to pick up speed early in the season. Both the Hodag boys and girls squads finished 10th in the 12-team Ascension Hodag Challenge race held Saturday and Sunday at the Cedric A. Vig Outdoor Classroom.
