Sophomore Makenna Winnicki punched her ticket to state with top-four finishes in the 100-yard butterfly and the 500 freestyle Saturday as the Hodags placed eighth in a Division 2 sectional at UW-Stevens Point.

Hodag swimmers take 2nd at GNCs

Makenna Winnicki won the conference title in the 100-yard butterfly and the Hodags finished second at the GNCs, edging out host Lakeland and Ladysmith/Bruce/Flambeau for the runner-up spot.

The James Williams Middle School soccer team recently completed a successful 2018 season. The Hodags' A team finished with a 5-2-2 record and the Hodags' B team ended with an 8-1-0 overall mark.
