Gymnasts get three-week summer refresher
The middle of July is about as far away from the end of one gymnastics season, and the start of another, as possible. Yet, for the RHS gymnastics team, it's the right time to get a bit of a refresher ahead of the upcoming season.

Paulson: Mike Webster turf project on schedule
Rhinelander High School activities director Brian Paulson says the conversion of Mike Webster Stadium from natural grass to artificial turf is going well and the field is on track to be ready for the RHS football team's home opener - and maybe sooner than that.

Odd team wins alumni baseball game
More than 20 players, representing four different decades of Rhinelander baseball returned to Stafford Field Saturday for the annual Hodag baseball alumni game. A back-and-forth contest was won by the team comprised of players mainly from odd-numbered graduating years, 6-5.
A July fourth
For the fourth straight year, the Rebels can call themselves champions of the Great Northern Legion Conference.
Lucky 7s
The Rhinelander Rebels scored seven runs in the fourth inning as they defeated Minocqua 11-4 in Great Northern Legion Conference play at Stafford Field.
