Northland Pines' Jacqueline Smith had 17 kills, including eight in the second set, as the Eagles rolled to a straight set win over the Hodags at the Jim Miazga Community Gymnasium.

Down riders on both of their squads, the Rhinelander Northwoods Composite team placed a season-low third in the Division 2 standings, while the Rhinelander High School squad placed 12th in Division 1 during the third race of the Wisconsin High School Cycling League season at Nordic Mountain in Wild Rose.

The history behind the Bell
The Bell Trophy has been traded between the rival schools since 1935 when Rhinelander Daily News sports writer Jack Cory swapped trophy-trade ideas with Antigo writers Fred "Bus" Snyder and Johnny Tradewell. They eventually opted for the Bell over an old oaken bucket.
