The stage is set
The Hodags remained perfect in the first month of 2019, getting a 31-point effort from Kenedy Van Zile Tuesday night as they defeated Ashland 56-39 in a non-conference game at the Jim Miazga Community Gymnasium.
Missed momentum
Adam Moucha made a free throw with 0.4 seconds remaining as Mosinee clipped the Hodags 70-69 at the Jim Miazga Community Gymnasium after two turnovers in the final 45.6 seconds came back to bite Rhinelander.
Hodag hockey wins East/Merrill tournament
Up 3-0 in both of its contest, the Hodags fended off rallies to defeat Medford 5-3 and East/Merrill 3-2 to take the four-team weekend tournament at the Smith Center.
Hodag gymnasts turn in season-best score in Rice Lake
The Hodags cracked the 120-point mark for the first time this season, putting up a total of 120.225 points as they finished eighth in the 10-team meet comprised of mostly Division 1 schools.
