Hodags finish fourth at gymnastics sectionals
The Rhinelander High School gymnastics season came to an end Friday night with a number of near misses at WIAA sectionals in Antigo. The Hodags finished fourth in the seven-team field with a score of 119.55 points and were unable to qualify any individuals for the WIAA state meet.
Nordic ski team hands out letters
The Rhinelander High School Nordic ski team concluded an improved 2019 season with a banquet Monday night at the Cedric A. Vig Outdoor Classroom.

Alexis Kriesel cashes in for Hodags at district bowling tournament
A strong opening game helped Rhinelander/Elcho club bowler Alexis Kriesel earn some scholarship money over the weekend at the Wisconsin High School Bowling Club District 9 singles tournament.

Nolan Francis won the 100-yard backstroke and was part of Rhinelander's winning 200 freestyle relay team, part of a banner night Friday for the Hodags in the WIAA D2 state meet.

The Lady Hodags officially wrapped up a share of the first girls' basketball conference title in program history Monday, cruising past the Northland Pines Eagles 79-35 at the NPHS Fieldhouse in Eagle River.
