Moving on to state
The dream the Rhinelander High School track team's sprinters formed prior to the start of the season was fulfilled Thursday. The Hodags are moving on to state in a pair of relays following a pair of top-four finishes at a WIAA Division 2 sectional meet at Veterans Park in Mosinee.
Rhinelander shuts down Mosinee 3-1 in postseason pitchers' duel
The Hodags took advantage of some shoddy Mosinee defense in the first inning, scoring three runs, and held on behind command pitching performances from Bryce Schickert and Josh Randolph to defeat the Indians 3-1 at City Park in Mosinee in a WIAA regional quarterfinal contest.
