Free bases cost the Rhinelander High School baseball team Friday night in a non-conference contest. Marathon scored four times in the fifth inning to break a 2-all tie and downed the Hodags 6-2 at Marathon.

RHS alum Bixby earns WIAC pitcher of the week honors
On Tuesday, Rhinelander High School grad Isaac Bixby, a sophomore on the UW-Platteville baseball team, was named the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Conference (WIAC) pitcher of the week for April 10-16, the conference announced in a press release.
