Hodag girls’ soccer team hands out awards
Coach Nathan Bates kept things short and sweet on Monday, as the Rhinelander High School girls’ soccer team handed out only a pair of team awards during its season-ending banquet in the RHS commons.
Weigel officially promoted to lead Hodag boys’ soccer
Rhinelander High School activities director Brain Paulson confirmed to the River News on Monday that John Weigel has been promoted to the head coaching role for the RHS boys' soccer team for the upcoming year.

Team review: RHS baseball
Rhinelander went 8-14 overall on the season and finished tied for fifth in the GNC with a 4-8 league mark. Still the Hodags showed improvement down the stretch, going 5-4 over their final nine games - with two of those losses coming by a single run.
