The Hodags won five on nine contested bouts, and received forfeit victories in three others, as they defeated the Medford Raiders 46-24 in GNC dual meet play.

Devon Feck scored a game-high 23 points, leading four Hodags in double figures, and Rhinelander was an efficient 53% from the field in a 76-57 rout of the Raiders in Medford.

Aubryn Clark finished with a game-high 23 points, but missed a contested runner with less than 5 seconds remaining as the Hodags fell 53-51 to the Raiders at Raider Hall.

Pacelli pulls away late against Hodag hockey
For the second time this season, the Rhinelander High School boys’ hockey team saw Stevens Point Pacelli pull away late in a contest as the Cardinals rode to a 9-2 victory Thursday night at the Rhinelander Ice Arena.
Ostrom’s jersey retired by Hodag Hockey
The Rhinelander High School boys’ hockey team, prior to its game Thursday, Jan. 22 against the Stevens Point Pacelli Cardinals, paid tribute to one of its alumni by posthumously retiring the No. 7 jersey worn by Jeb Ostrom.

Drake Nelson scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the second period and freshman Connor McGee made 27 saves as the Hodags defeated the Raiders 3-2 at the Rhinelander Ice Arena to begin the second round of Great Northern Conference play.

Rhinelander High School junior Cassidy Lindner won all four of her matches in convincing fashion Saturday, Jan. 17 and was voted by the coaches as the most outstanding wrestler in the 14-team River Valley Invite.
Hodag boys’ grapplers take eighth at Ithaca/Weston
The Rhinelander High School boys’ wrestling team took nine wrestlers to the southwestern part of the state Saturday, Jan. 17 to compete in the 10-team Ithaca/Weston Invite. The Hodags came home eighth on the day in a field that included a mix of Division 1, 2 and 3 schools.
