Hodags stay hot, improve to 5-0
Rhinelander did its part to continue Mosinee’s free fall from the top, winning 5-1 Mondday at Stafford Field. The Hodags improved to 4-0 in the GNC with the win and remained unbeaten overall on the year with a 9-0 win over Marathon in non-conference play on Tuesday.

Hodag girls’ track dominates at Marathon
The Rhinelander High School girls’ track team had a strong performance on Thursday, April 16, winning seven of 18 events, as it cruised to the team title in the eight-team Marathon Invite.
RHS baseball routs Merrill 11-1
The Rhinelander High School baseball team performed well against Great Northern Conference newcomer Merrill on April 16. The Hodags beat the Bluejays 11-1 in five innings — pounding out five doubles as part of a 13-hit performance at Stafford Field.
RHS netters edge Medford in key GNC win
As the Rhinelander High School boys’ tennis team began its quest for an unprecedented 12th straight Great Northern Conference title Thursday, April 16, it went head-to-head against the team that will most likely be the biggest hurdle in pursuit of history.
