The clock is ticking
After several years of being discussed, debated, approved and then rescinded, the WIAA appears to be inching closer to the use of a shot clock in high school basketball.

Team review: RHS baseball
Just over two weeks after securing the outright Great Northern Conference championship for the first time since 2012, the Rhinelander High School baseball team lost their opening playoff contest as 9-seed Bloomer came to town and sneaked past the Hodags, 5-4.
River Monsters fall to Dairyland-leading Everest in rain-shortened game
The Rhinelander River Monsters were supposed to play 14 innings against the Everest Merchants on the road in Weston Friday, June 19. Thanks to Mother Nature, only five of those innings were completed.
