Court date set for Crandon man
A court date of Feb. 17 has been set for a Crandon man accused of a sexually related crime against a minor. On Dec. 25 in Rhinelander, Cody Rohe, 19, was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree sexual assault of a child under 16 years of age, a class C felony, and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a child, a class A misdemeanor.

Extreme cold warning in effect until Saturday morning
It’s been a week of brutal cold, getting deeper by the day—and here comes more. Threatening frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes, potential wind chills down to 45 below zero have prompted an extreme cold warning from the National Weather Service-Green Bay. It’s in effect from late last night to Saturday morning, and covers much of the Northwoods.
