Johnson’s bond set at $1 million
A St. Germain man accused of first-degree intentional homicide made his initial court appearance Monday. Vilas County judge Daniel Overbey set a $1 million cash bond for 56-year-old James Johnson, according to court records, with conditions not to have contact with two individuals who made contact with law enforcement during the investigation, not to visit the address where officers identified the deceased and to have a GPS monitoring device fitted upon release.
