Johnson named assistant fire chief
Adam “AJ” Johnson was promoted to the position of Assistant Chief of the Rhinelander Fire Department Thursday, following a meeting of the city’s police and fire commission. A 15-year veteran of the department, Johnson succeeds Dan Bauer who passed away in early November after suffering a heart attack.
