Sports are better when all involved stay in their lane
It has taken the better part of a week for me to wrap my head around exactly what I witnessed Saturday night in Rice Lake, as fan interference ultimately played a significant role in the outcome of a WIAA sectional final boys' soccer game between Rhinelander and Rice Lake. As I reflect on Saturday's events, I've reached an overriding conclusion - sports are best when everyone involved knows their role and sticks to it.
