Shirley Bushong, age 95, of Rhinelander, died on June 19, 2022, at her home, with her loving family at her side. She was born on Dec. 6, 1926, in Mellen, the daughter of Reinhold and Nellie (Scribner) Henke. She was born and raised in Mellen and graduated from the Mellen High School in 1945. After her schooling she worked in Milwaukee for a couple of years.
