Heal Creek to host Dog Dash Feb. 26-27
Heal Creek, just west of Rhinelander near Northwood Golf Club, will be the venue for the inaugural Dog Dash on February 26-27. With over 15 kilometers of trails for skiers and snowshoers to enjoy, as well as a great sledding hill for kids of all ages, the Heal Creek Dog Dash is meant to be an event the whole family can enjoy while also highlighting the other recreational opportunities at Northwood Trails, according to Niina Baum, one of the organizers of the event.
