Mayor offers prayer at 'bittersweet' final council meeting

With the crack of a gavel, an era in Rhinelander city government came to an end Monday evening. The person who swung the mallet to adjourn the meeting was outgoing council president Ryan Rossing, who stepped in for Mayor Chris Frederickson who was unable to chair the proceedings due to an eye issue.While Frederickson did not preside over the meeting, he did share a few final thoughts as well as a prayer.
