City commission recommends Tonnancour as next fire chief

Once the two finalists to be the next chief of the Rhinelander Fire Department completed their in-person interviews with the city's police and fire commission (PFC) Friday morning, it took about 20 minutes of closed door deliberations before Brian Tonnancour, assistant chief of operations with the Milwaukee County Fire Department, received the panel's unanimous approval.
