Trig's commemorates 50th anniversary with massive donation to food pantries
On Tuesday, Trig's and Smithfield Foods, Inc. presented a donation of nearly 40,000 pounds of protein, the equivalent of more than 150,000 protein servings, to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. The joint donation, arranged through Smithfield's Helping Hungry Homes® initiative, commemorates Trig's 50th anniversary and will be used to feed those facing food insecurity during the holiday season, according to Trig's officials.
