Usually, high school teams are eager to practice as soon as the WIAA allows - sometimes even taking the field at 12:01 a.m. on the first eligible day to practice. This year, the Rhinelander High School boys' soccer team took a more casual approach to the start of the season, choosing to wait until last Wednesday - two days later than they could have under WIAA regulations - to hold practice.
