While a group of Pickerel Lake property owners opposed to the recent rezoning of land owned by developer Glenn Schiffmann and the Department of Natural Resources from forestry to recreational continue to focus on petitions and signatures, a local official is stressing that rezoning decisions are not made based on the number of signatures for or against a particular proposal.
