'I didn't have that last chance to better myself'

Rhinelander native Gaber reflects on seeing collegiate golf career cut short due to COVID-19

The first two months of 2020 started out normally for Rhinelander native Alex Gaber, a senior on the Clarke University men's golf team in Iowa. Preparation was underway for the second half of his senior season following the winter break and Gaber was eager to put a bow on his collegiate golf career. Except Gaber, like so many senior college and high school student-athletes, will never get that chance.
