Hoban family discovers self-addressed letters written by fifth-grade students

In 2005, following two failed referendums to fund their maintenance and operational costs, the School District of Rhinelander closed Newbold, Pine Lake, West and Curran elementary schools. But when those doors closed, another opened for one Northwoods family. (subscriber access)
