Lead toxicity still an issue for raptors
According to Amanda Walsh of the Northwoods Wildlife Center, the local wildlife rehabilitation center has taken in six bald eagles since October 2019, all of whuch had some lead toxicity, and some of them had to be euthanized because the levels of lead in their systems were too high to be treated.
