The case against a former Rhinelander physician accused of child abuse and neglect in connection with the death of his 20-month-old son Avery J. Edwards in April 2017 will move forward after a judge ruled Tuesday a jury could reasonably infer that Dr. Trung T. Tran believed his wife, Ellen Tran, had previously caused bodily harm to the boy but still chose to leave him in her care. (subscriber access)
