The vote by the Oneida County Board of Supervisors this week to rezone a 10-acre parcel of land to allow a gravel pit in Hazelhurst stirred up a lot of passion, and it may or may not have been the right vote, but it once again shows the need for consistency in Oneida County zoning decisions.
