Mike Steffes, Deputy Administrator of the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) Division of Law Enforcement Services (DLES) and former Rhinelander Police Chief, recently completed the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) National Executive Institute, an elite, highly-selective academy designed for law enforcement executives that lead more than 500 sworn officers and serve a population of 250,000 or more, attorney general Brad Schimel announced last week.
