SDR mill rate set to drop in 2018

Increased state aid results in .60 cut per $1,000 of fair market value

Thanks to an increase in state aid included in the 2017-19 biennial budget, along with a 1.65-percent increase in equalized value in the area, property owners in the School District of Rhinelander will see a reduction in the portion of their property taxes allocated to the district.
