Book World, which opened its first store in Rhinelander in 1976 and grew to become the fourth largest book store chain in the country, announced Tuesday it will close 45 of its stores in Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, North Dakota and Missouri. (subscriber access)
