At approximately 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oneida County deputies responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 17, just south of Boyce Drive. According to a sheriff's department spokesman at the scene, a Toyota SUV rear-ended another vehicle then struck that vehicle's door before ending up in a ditch. The occupant of the other vehicle was transported to Ministry St. Mary's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Toyota, who was shaken up, was issued a citation for inattentive driving.
