Superintendent reports relatively smooth first day of school

Health emergency reported at Pelican Elementary

With the exception of a scare at Pelican Elementary, the first day of school was a smooth one in the School District of Rhinelander. With all the moving parts involved in the operation of the School District of Rhinelander, there are always a few moments of breath-holding when the first day of the new school year arrives, but superintendent Kelli Jacobi said Thursday afternoon everything went as planned.
