Rhinelander man receives 10-year prison sentence in child abuse case

Winkler eligible for parole as sentence falls under guidelines in effect in 1996

A 67-year-old Rhinelander man convicted of abusing an 8-year-old boy over more than three years starting in 1994 will spend a good portion of the next 10 years in prison following a sentencing hearing in late September. (subscriber access)
